    @CecilliaB It is Avast AV + Zonealarm firewall. Can't help you with logs because I uninstalled it already. I just don't have patience for that stuff, sorry.

    Same thing happened to me. I installed adaware today in compatibility mode simply as second scanner because I have other AV/firewall. I didn't even enable any online protection options. I instantly started to have disk drive error message. All drives were scanned and are good. Disabling tray in startup did not help. Uninstalled and the message stopped showing up. Windows 8.1 64 bit.
