  1. Blade, Computer now back to normal, I did everything you said and just reading through some of the tutorials you posted. When I downloaded skybot it said it detected adaware and there could be a conflict, should i have one or the other or keep both? The problem I had with my connection being hijacked, will that make any of my passwords etc available to them? i read up a little about it and it said it normally trys to say your computer is infected and you should buy their checkers etc. Which it would go into random virus scans when i was clicking on google searches. Blade thank you for your time and help, without you i would have had to re install windows and do a complete re load as it was really driving me mad. Cheers Dave

Hi Blade81, i went to my default connection which is my wireless connection and the settings were already as you told me to put, however my router has not been working for a couple of weeks so have been using a modem and i had to change the setting you told me to as it had use the following DNS address. The modem connection is my default one as i double checked. Im not sure if the problem only started happening when i started using the modem again. i tried a few searches on google and there worked fine.   7. i think the problem might be fixed!!!!!!!! i have had it before where i thought it was fixed then it came back after a couple of reboots. i rebooted the computer and still worked fine, hopefully this has done it. if so i cant thank you enough and am very grateful for your time in this matter. i will let you know what happens after a cpouple more reboots. thank you again dave

  9. i have not got log file as when it started back up my virus checker picked up a virus from the program and it had the name of the file i was deleting. the computer then froze so i had to restart. will do hijackthis log now.
  10. tried doing what you said but this came up "The file you uploaded is 0 bytes. It is very likely a firewall or a piece of malware is prohibiting you from uploading this file" i turned off my firewall but same result.
