  4. Cecilia, I am aware of the Release 8 Update 25 but the application I use for my diabetes reading have not updated to that version yet.
  5. Latest version of Java is Release 7 Update 71. You can find it on this link http://www.java.com/en/ . I suggest you save this link as Java is updated every 3 months. But if you don't need it uninstall any old versions as Cecilia suggested.
  6. David, read the instructions again. The first thing you must do is to show "Hidden Files". From there on you will be able to create the MSI zip file. Remember to reverse the steps so as the hide the files again.

  9. Save your screen shot as a jpg file and attach it. Make sure you click on reply to give you another blank screen with more reply options.

  14. To run as administrator: Start - All programs - Accessories - right click on Command Prompt and select 'Run as administrator' then retry the commands as posted by CeciliaB.
  15. I run McAfee Site Advisor Pro and it shows RED with a warning it is dangerous site.
  16. Looking at your screen shot Ad-Aware still shows in your Quick Launch bar. Click on 'Start' then on 'All Programs' and scroll through them to see if it shows up at all. You can also click on 'Start' and enter 'adaware' in the search box - you may get a hit there.

  22. Cecilia, description link shows up as RED on Site Advisor Pro, download shows as safe. Just be careful. And just found the exe file is not recommended for download by SmartFilter (IE9).

  24. Chrome settings are changed by clicking on the 'spanner' then select settings and go to 'Appearance'. There you can change your home settings.
  25. Brad, we tried our best to no avail. At a rough guess I think the motherboard may have died but only affected the USB ports. A bit odd but stranger things have happened. At least the post had over 1590 hits and may have helped someone else. I will close this post off in the next day or so. Glad to have been of help to you.
