  2. Skaler. If you read CaseyBoys post on page 1, you'll see they have had the same problem with the anniversary edition, so, in my opinion it has nothing to do with whether you upgrade to the Anniversary Edition or not.
  3. You don't have to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition. AA 2008 Free is still supported. There is a slight hiccup at the moment with the def updates for aa 2008.
  4. Casey Boy has passed it on to Lavasoft. It is now just a case of waiting till they do something. It won't be fixed over night. Just be patient.(hmm, that'll be hard)
  5. It's not working for me. Damned thing is still hanging when I try to update.
  6. Same problem here. All my other programs updated ok. Adaware the only one that won't update. My computer is clean according to my other security software.
  7. Thanks for your prompt response Andy. Much appreciated. Charlie
  8. Hi Updated my defs and ran a full scan Adaware detected W32.Trojandropper.delph. I think this may be an F/P Wasn't picked up by S&D or MalwareBytes. I've currently quarantined the file. Could you please advise Attached log file and the file indicated (think I've got the right one's) Thanks p.s. Just as a matter of interest, why can't I view the attachments? I'm logged in but when I click to download an attachment I get an error message I don't have permission to use this feature adscan.txt unins000.zip
  9. Ltangelic, Gave the machine a good work out today. Everything is ok now, in fact somehow a couple of little problems I've had with this pc from when I first got it have also disappeared. I really appreciate your help. I have made a note of your recommendations and once I've caught up on my backlog of things to do, I'll have a good look at them and implement some of the. A bouquet for a lovely helpful young lady.
  10. Ltangelic, thank you for your help, I'll post back here tomorrow and let you know how things are, although everything appears to be ok at the moment. Have a lot of things to catch upon, which I'll do tomorrow. After a day chasing round the web tomorrow, I should know if there are still any problems. Ok, I'm off to get some beauty sleep, Good night, catch you tomorrow.
  11. That's them two done, and from my inexperienced view, things appear to be ok. Do I get to have an early night tonight?
