    I have a similar problem; actually, it's still the same problem as before. Today I downloaded all available updates for my Adware 2007 free edition to make it compatible with my Vista Home Premium 64-bit system, but the full and smart scans are still freezing at the "Preparing to scan GUID" point. Is this a 64-bit compatibility problem, or is there something I can do to fix this?
