  1. I run Windows XP SP2 and Symantic Antivirus V9.0.3.1000 I think I originally installed 2007 over the previous version, but when I uninstalled 2007 to reinstall after the first crash occured, I would have unsed Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Hope that helps !! mlobes
  2. This is my first entry into this forum. I recently upgraded from the previous Free version of Ad Aware (SE I think) which worked a treat for me on my HP laptop running Win XP. I had to upgrade to the 2007 version because the previous version was no longer supported. When I run AAW 2007 v 7.0.2.7, it crashes the PC and I get the dreaded "blue screen of death' come up and the PC reboots. The message on the blue screen includes the following (see attacahed): Technical Information: ***STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x0061002E, 0xEFB63CF0, 0x00000000 Beginning dump of physical memory Physical memory dump complete. Contact your system administreatot or technical .... etc etc .. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple of times but the same thing keeps happening Has anybody else had this problem and fixed it ? Thanks mlobes
