Spybot Vs Ad-Aware

It's the free anniversary edition. -
I have been running both Spybot and Ad-Aware on my system for years without conflict. I recently updated to the Anniversary Edition of Ad-Aware. I can still run Spybot without any problem but Ad-Aware doesn't even load. I get the LOADING screen which disappears after about 20 seconds. Can anyone help please.
