  1. I solved the problem It was not only that the USB was not available, but also the serial port I managed to get a system recovery, booting with the XP CD and doing a system recover from the shell by hand

  3. Hi all, after installing Ad-Aware AE today the computer did a restart. Since then USB is completely deactivated after Windows starts (until then USB is fine so I can go to BIOS etc.) USB is enabled in BIOS. Problem is USB keyboard and mouse - computer does not have PS/2, so I can't get into my XP anymore Any suggestions or ideas what to do, and what happened ? thank you in advance
