If you want to post your log you should read through these Instructions first, then you can post your log to our Hijack This Forum cressy
I appreciate your comments. Any other thoughts before I post the hijack this log? or is this the next logical step? I did find the Revo program useful. Also cleaned out a bunch of junk files. Does windows defender or norton anti virus prevent adaware from loading? one last interesting note. Yesterday at one point I was able to get past the loading screen and had the choice of scanning or updating. I chose to update and then it went into permanent loading mode. Guess I should have scanned at that point but I can no longer get back to that screen.

You should makes sure that Ad-Aware is shut down first. Use Revo Uninstaller to make sure it is a clean uninstall. Reboot your computer. Download the installer again. Shutdown any other running programs and install Ad-Aware. How did you make out? cressy
Did not work. I have actually uninstalled and re installed several times. I did go to hijack this based on reading other comments. Got a log but do not know what to do with it. Any thoughts?
 3. I'm sure this is a common problem that someone can explain how to fix. Installed free version and when the computer restarted in is now stuck in Loading mode. This has been going on for 3 hours. I made exception for adaware on windows firewall. Also I have experienced in the past that adaware get's stuck at initializing. Any easy fix? Thanks.
