  2. I've been using the Anniversary free edition of Ad-aware, I've been recommended to update to the latest version. I downloaded the new version. When trying to install it, it tried to remove the old version first. That's when the "Could not access network location" error first appeared. Since then, I wasn't able to use the uninstaller (had to remove all files and registry entries manually). but that's not all: even after having removed every trace of the old version, I still get the same message when I try to install the new one. I tried changing the installation drive, in case there was a physical error with my main drive. That didn't work either. Any ideas?
