1. Hi, does anyone know how to get rid of System Healer from my laptop, it starts on start up and i'm getting loads of popups when I go online, internet is also really slow, i'm guessing it's all connected to System Healer?
2. Been having issues with malware, primarily adware. I installed Ad-Aware which got rid of all of it, at least I thought. Now I get pop-ups for "Ads by FreezeThePrice" in all browsers, as well as additional links in google by the same adware. Ad-aware is not finding anything, I've also used adwcleaner and it removed some other files that were being difficult, but this FreezeThePrice is still here. Files from FRST is attached. On a side note, I've seen it suggested to remove Java, but I use it for developmental purposes. FRST.txt Addition.txt
3. Hi, have been infected with 'ads by tremendous coupon' for over 3 weeks and every time i think i've gotten rid of it it comes back. Basically chrome is overrun with ads including random popup ads when i mouse over certain words on any webpage, extra google search results with surveys etc, opening ads in a new tab when i click on an ordinary link, full page popup ads when i go to certain websites....seriously slowing down chrome. FRST results attatched. FRST.txt Addition.txt
4. I've been hijacked. What's worse is, I can't find the folder or path this hijacker is using in order to remove it! YOU can't even find it! I've run Adaware *and* Avast with no luck. I've looked in your data base and keep getting "No data found". I tried to find it in any and all of my Google Chrome settings - but it's too well hidden or it's attached itself to something else, making it impossible to find! Here's the info I've gotten from places around the web: Anvisoft says: 22find.com is a browser hijacker that spread via rootkit, Trojan, spam email attachments or infected websites visiting, targeting almost browser of all sorts, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. It will do a series of modifications to the browser configurations to make itself the default homepage. It also has the ability to hide itself from antivirus program by changing Windows registry settings. Once captures your system, you will notice not only your homepage, but also the new tab is set to open with 22find.com. The fact is search through this website is unsecured and may relate to redirection to malicious domains. The purpose of such browser hijackers is to transfer and record your browsing habits and similar things so as to force hits to particular websites, especially commercial advertisements. More serious, your credit card details and other confidential information revealed through this malicious domain might be compromised. In view of its malicious behavior, 22find.com should be removed from your PC as soon as possible, or it may harm your computer system and put your privacy and confidential data out on a limb. It goes on to give instructions for removal - none of which worked for me! It suggested going to my program files to remove it - but it's not showing up there. Then it says go to my browser settings to remove it and reset my pages - but it's not showing up there, either! I know it is on my computer because if I close out Google Chrome, when I reopen it, the 22 find page opens up instead of a Google page. It then goes on to suggest I download "Cloud System Boost". Honestly, I want to avoid downloading *more* unknown crap on my computer whenever possible. Since I've been using your product for years - I would rather hear from YOU what steps to take, rather than an unknown source. Please research this and HELP ME! Thanks.
5. I recently downloaded a PC game called Crazy Drake from eGames, but Ad-Aware came up with a Trojan (Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT to be exact) and some Conducent/Timesink Adware. Since it wasn't the official eGames website, I thought I might have gotten a purposely infected file. I then decided to buy the actual game new from eBay. When I installed it, Adaware STILL came up with the same stuff. This makes me believe that it could be something from the game that it thinks is malicious, but really isn't. Here is the website I got it from: http://egames2.blogspot.com/2011/09/crazy-drake.html Here's another link in case the first doesn't work: http://www.mediafire.com/?lmlxlhrwi6ndedr Thanks in advance!
6. Hi, I am one of the developers at Wajam.com For some reason Ad-Aware 10 is reporting "Visiting this site may harm your computer!" when people are trying to visit us. We assure you that the website will not harm your computer in any way. Another issue, it seems that there is a False Positive on the Wajam application flagging it as a Adware. We have specific Terms of Service explaining what we do here: http://www.wajam.com/terms we also have a TRUSTe certification: http://clicktoverify.truste.com/pvr.php?page=validate&url=www.wajam.com&sealid=101 Regards, The website: http://www.wajam.com The application is downloadable here: http://www.wajam.com...nload/Wajam.exe
7. Hi. I know how to disable real-time antivirus protection on Adaware Pro, but I want it to keep scanning data for adware protection real-time; I see that there is a button for disabling antivirus real-time protection, but if I click on that button, does clicking on the button disable real-time adware protection, too? If it does, do I have a way of keeping the adware and other objects from getting on my computer? I am guessing that if I have to, I can change the text in one of Adware's files. I have AVG Antivirus and I want to keep being protected real-time for antivirus by them. Thank you for reading. Appreciate responses.
