Hi all! I am encountering an issue with Adaware. When running a full scan, Adaware detected a virus but seems to be unable to quarantine, delete, or otherwise handle it. I've tried running Adaware a few times, and other programs as well, but the threat remains. Please have a look at my report XML and advise on how to handle if you are able. adaware_Report_Full_Manual_11-23-2018 105901 AM.xml

Latest Mozilla Firefox update stopped my long-running (free) version of Adaware - I now get all the ads on newspapers and elsewhere. Did a Google search and found only articles on Removing Adaware. What is wrong? It was a long-time add on for Mozilla Firefox and was fine for me. So, what has changed? Read the Forum where somebody thought it was Malware; believe myself that it's OK! I searched my PC, found an old version and did a scan and FINALLY found the Adaware website again. I had a customer number (Old) but nowhere to input that, my old user name was not recognized so had to register again. Can I purchase JUST the ad-blocking software? Or, do I need to buy a whole suit of stuff?

Hello, I tried to update Ad-Aware antivirus, but got the usual error message: Could not create process. I removed the old installed Ad-Aware and cleaned my computer from all Lavasoft applications. When I run the new Ad-Aware installer, I got the same error. Then I followed your instructions in "Couldn't Create Process Ad-Aware Free+Antivirus" page and here attached the required zip files. I will appreciate any help you can provide. Souheil msinfo32.zip msinfo32.zip

I'm running Windows 8 and am trying to uninstall Ad Aware 11. The uninstallation process runs for a bit then I get a message stating the process can't complete because the file or folder is open in another program. I've closed everything out and removed all programs from the toolbar yet I still get this message. Any suggestions?

Hi, As I NEVER seem to get any response from Lavasoft directly via email, I will post my question here on the forum: Namely, I received a "pop-up" message from my Ad-Aware Total Security stating: "Your Computer has been Scanned"! (It was not a Virus Scan) What does this mean then??! Is there anywhere I can get more info on this "scan"? Thanks!
