SG Hollywood 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 How can I redownload the SE version that was working fine on my vista machine?
Pierre67 209 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 Go to the following link http://www.filehippo.com/download_ad-aware/
spike-nz 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 When you follow Peter's link, make sure that you select "Ad-Aware Personal 1.06r1" from the right hand menu: Once the correct version is listed in the title, select Download. Although definition files for AAW SE are due to be discontinued at the end of the year, by then support for 64-bit Vista should have been realesed, to go with this weeks update for 32-bit Vista conpatability. SG Hollywood 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 (edited) Thanks guys, only problem now is I can't register the SE version to get Ad-Watch back, it just wants me to upgrade to 2007 which is not working. Edited September 8, 2007 by SG Hollywood
spike-nz 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 To reinstall a licensed version of AAW SE (Plus or Pro), you would have had to have a backup copy of the executable. Only the free Personal version is still available on the filehippo download site. You are no longer able to download SE from Support, so without a backup there is regretfully nowhere to point you.
