False Positive reported by Free AdAware 2007 for PC Magazine utility "InCtrl5.exe". See uploaded AdAware log. I also WinZipped and uploaded the executable (in file named "InCtrl5.zip").

This reported Malware Infection is a FALSE POSITIVE, InCtrl5.exe is

a legitimate utility program issued by PC Magazine (Ziff-Davis Media,

 

Inc. Nov. 2000).

 

InCtrl5.exe has been installed for years, it has never been

reported as Malware by Ad-Aware2007 prior to AdAware Definitions

version 76 !!! Please CORRECT AdAware's Definition to exempt InCtrl5.exe.

Thanks for reporting this issue!

 

We will investigate it further and if it turns out to be a false positive the object will be removed from detection as of the next definition file release.
