I've just bought latest ad-aware, i've download all the updates, but the programm still freeze and i must restart the PC. I've tried to do a custom scan in may documents? settings an ad freeze of its files downloaded for updates. I've tried to turno ZA off and start ad-aware again but after some work it freeze. i've used spybot and it run normally. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

[email protected] 4 Report post Posted May 26, 2008 (edited) Viking, as you state you have Ad-Aware 2007. Ad-Aware 2008 has a new virus detection engine unlike the 2007 version. ( sorry my english is bad) The answer is pure and simple: You have the "freezing problem" when you use Kaspesky & AAW8! In your previous post, you said = no problems with AAW7.
