robertchernov 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2008 I downloaded and installed (from CNET) what I thought was the latest version (7.1.0.8). I first uninstalled a previous version of 2008 and installed the new version. However, when I open the application and click the "I" to see the product information, it still indicates Version 7.1.0.10. Any suggestions? Thanks, in advance, for your help. robertchernov 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2008 (edited) Seems contradictory; under the decimal system .01 would precede .8 but not .1. If it was .08, then yes, it would precede .1. Also, I find it hard to believe that CNET wouldn't have the most current version. I am not trying to be antagonistic, but are you certain .8 isn't the latest version? I assure you, you are running the most up-to-date program. The installer updates the program on install, so you will never actually use v.7.1.0.8 unless you are disconnected from the internet on install.
