petrolehahn 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 (edited) Aaw plus 7.1.0.11, paid license, defs file 1430001 fail to load updates, after dialog box that says "there new software updates available..." I click "OK", it starts to download the files then following msg box pops up "/public/aaw2008/antivir3vdf 1 of 1 100% Download finished Update dependency failed Component installation started Component installation finished Installation finished" What's wrong ? DerekS 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 I have received the following information from Lavasoft support regading the problem of update dependency failed. When the Update Manager have problems stopping the service before installing updates it will create the message "Update dependency failed". The Update Manager will try to stop the service until it succeeds and will not close unless the installation of the new update is complete.
