No Ad-Aware in windows7 x64 context menu

Recommended Posts

I have the same issue. :) I purchased the Pro version only because I thought that the Free version was not providing that interesting feature.
The support is now informing that there is an issue with the 64 bit version...nothing more than that.
The SW does not work as expected, the support does not propose any valuable solutions...not to say that I would like my money back....... :) .

That's really strange guys! I have Win 7 64bit and the context menu worked fine (and works fine in the current beta version too).

If you're interested in playing with the registry I might be able to help you with some keys, but else you might just have to wait for a fix.

It's possible that the cause of your missing context menu is if you don't have any of these. If you don't then let me know which ones.

I have none of the above, do you have a .reg file that will add all these keys to the registry? Edited by yowan

I'm not sure this is going to work, but here's a reg file I have created for you.

Remember you'll need to restart Windows Explorer for this to take effect (Start > hold down Shift+Ctrl > right click > exit explorer > ctrl+alt+del > start task manager > file > run > explorer) or restart your PC.

Warning: You should back up your registry before making any changes to it. I will not be held responsible for any damage whatsoever caused by this file. You use it at your own risk.
I thought it might not.

I guess you'll just have to wait for a fix from Lavasoft.
Thanks, maybe it will be fixed in v8.1.5
