Lavasoft 8.2 and Windows 7

Adaware 8.2 still crashes on Windows 7. The version 8.14 works perfectly. I have read on Lavasoft´s site, that there are only problems with 8.2 on systems with XP installed. This is not quite true. On my system only Windows 7 works. After having installed Adaware plus, windows freezes. You have to do a reset and then boot in safe mode. Then you can uninstall Version 8.2. Has anyone an idea when there will be a solution for this problem? Thank you very much.

What version of Ad-Aware (i.e. free/plus/pro) do you have installed?

If it's the pro or plus, then try disabling the Files component of Ad-Watch Live.

I have installed Adaware Plus (presently version 8.14) because 8.2 crashes. It ist not possible to disable Ad-Watch Live, because after having installed 8.2 my system does not work any more.

You said you could boot into safe mode?

However, since you have uninstalled 8.2 and 8.1 is working fine - I would just wait until Lavasoft release a set of fixes for 8.2. Then try reinstalling.
