Ad-aware failure to scan error message.

Hi,

Could anyone help with the following problem please.

I've just installed Ad-Aware 8.2, clicked Scan computer. It scans for approximately 11 seconds, then stops with the following error message displayed; Ad-Aware was shut down unexpectedly and has generated an error report.

I've tried several times but the same thing occurs each time.

Any ideas,

It may be a conflict with another security program. Take a look at these:

Also I noticed that you said that you have v8.2 which has some bugs. Press the update button to update the software to v8.2.1 which contains several bug fixes. Then let us know if there is still a problem.
