Any easy way to recover from a corrupted lbd.sys?

Recommended Posts

I was running 8.2.2 on Win7 Ultimate x64 when crashed. Win7 automatically tried to recover but couldn't, but listed the cause was from a corrupted lbd.sys file. Restore point didn't help either. For my part, I needed the computer right away (it was my only computer), so I reinstalled Win7. But I'm wondering, if I delete lbd.sys, will I be able to boot normally? Or is there an easy way? TIA.

Thx :D

Took me a few days to get back all my settings and programs. Next time I'll wait and get the answers first before rebuilding everything, LoL.
