[email protected] 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2010 AE works fine, but when I install the upgrade Outlook2000 wont start. Uninstalling upgrade doesn't fix it. Reinstalling or repairing Outlook from CD doesn't fix it. I get back running by using a Norton Ghost image. Other topic discussion of Outlook 2003 was followed and of no help. visitor 3 Report post Posted July 1, 2010 AE worked fine since it lacks the email scanner of the newer version. The email scanner was only developed for Outlook 2003 and later. Uninstall the scanner in add/remove programs, turn it off in Outlook add-ons, and turn it off in the Ad-Aware options. Lavasoft says they plan on eliminating the feature in a future version.
