Screen Size

Hi,
My Ad-Aware Free screen is only 6 6/8 " x 6 1/2 ".
Clicking the max box in the top right does nothing.
Clicking the min dash does minimize the screen.
How do I increase screen size?

Nothing you can do if you're using Anniversary Edition (the forum to which this topic is posted). I read here the new version 8.3 allows maximize, but I still use AE myself.

After Ad-Aware update yesterday, I now have version 8.3. The maximize box does nothing.
I need a magnifying glass to read the screen!

I wonder if it only works with Total Security, or just the trial version? With prior versions, the only difference between free and paid versions was that the serial number unlocked the extra features. Nothing in the product comparison chart indicates a different user interface with maximize capability. I'll ask Lavasoft it this is a bug or intentional.

Are you using 8.3.0 Free, Pro, or Total Security? Also, if you installed 8.3 without uninstalling AE first, there might be some conflict. Does the GUI still say Anniversary Edition? Edited July 13, 2010 by visitor

I have 8.30. free. The GUI does not say anniversary edition, I did not uninstall Ad-Aware. I was offered an update via a notice in the notification ares and I simply executed from there.

OK, I added that you're using free and upgraded via the notification. We'll see if Lavasoft responds.
