Adaware shuts-down after Full-Scan

Recommended Posts

Adaware does a full scan, taking about 6 hours. Program finds numerous high-level threats. When suggested-Repair is started, the program shuts down with no scan-results log generated, and it appears that the offending items were not repaired or deleted.
About one minute after Adaware shuts down, it reopens with no information of the previous scan, logs, or repairs being completed.

I have uninstalled Adaware, reinstalled it and I get the same results. Bottom line is that I'm left with numerous trojans and malware infecting my PC after a full scan.

you could also try scanning in safe mode and doing a profile scan so you don't scan the archive, scanning the archive's really isn't needed
