Total Security Actions for Scheduled Scans

Question

Scheduled Scan using Total Security version does not provide the ability for a default action for Spyware/Adware items found. Pro version did. I there a way to specify? I want the default to be delete.

Hi wwmorton,

Since you have bought the product you can use the Lavasoft support instead of this forum with volunteers. See this post by LS Digger Barnes for links: http://www.lavasofts...ndpost&p=125583

I don't have Total Security but when I read the manual it seems that it should be possible by selecting the 'Options' link that is to the right of 'Virus check'.
There should be an 'In the case of an infection' for 'Virus check' that should be set to 'Disinfect (if not possible: place in quarantine).

If you mean that you want Total Security to delete all discovered files without placing them in quarantine that would give you other problems since all antivirus programs now and then thinks that good files are malicious, so called false positives.
