BobL1953 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2012 I have a software that I use daily and sometimes need to install additional modules. When I try to install additional modules Adaware stops the process as it sees as a generic trojan. Additionally it stops the use of the software multiple times a day. The only way to continue using the software is to get completely out of the computer and back in. Then usually when a computation is done twice Adaware stops the file. I cannot find where to tell it to ignore the file. I have the free version so can someone tell me how to teach it that this is a safe file?
CeciliaB 478 Report post Posted February 19, 2012 Hi BobL1953, Best is if Lavasoft can investigate the program and can change its classification to good. Please, either fill in the form on http://lavasoft.com/support/securitycenter/report_false_positives.php or follow the guide http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=18033 to give Lavasoft all the information they need to be able to investigate if it is a false positive.
