Ad-Aware Pro installed on server does not allow workstations access to server

All of a sudden I can not access my server from my workstations. Uninstalled Ad-Aware Pro and now I can connect. Is there some settings I need to change? I tried turning off the firewall and network features, it did not help. Only way was to remove completely. Windows XP Pro OS
