zircon 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) Hi, I'm trying to install AdAware on a computer that can't access the internet (much). I downloaded AdAware and put it on a flash drive, and then copied to the infected computer. But when I run the installer it says it can't connect to the internet to finish installing. I think the malware is blocking it, because when I tried to download the installer on that computer I get redirected to other sites. So I am guessing it is blocking the installer from download the definition file too. I read that I need to manually place the definition file on the computer, but I can't figure out how to download it from this site. I've found the blog area, where all definition files are mentioned, but I can't find a download link anywhere.
