MalwareBeatDown 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2013 I read the instructions on the web page below. The DDS file downloads from one of the links as "dds.com" and the second link downloads "dds.scr". I am not familiar with the .com or .scr file extensions. Are these applications like a .exe? Which one of these files should I double click on my desktop as described in the instructions? I have Windows 7 64-bit computer. http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=30823 Thanks Patrick
CeciliaB 475 Report post Posted April 23, 2013 Hi MalwareBeatDown, Yes, both .com and .scr are applications. Try with one of the downloaded files, and if it works you can delete the other variants. If it doesn't, try another variant. There are several variant due to that malware sometimes stops programs with one file extension from running.
