We are the developer of a Secure Browser used for educational testing for high stakes tests. We distribute the ITS Secure Browser.exe branded for each of our clients so that we can lock down the local workstation to prevent students from cheating or stealing test content. Unfortunately, because of what we must do to lock down systems securely, our software is often incorrectly identified as malicious.

 

Using VirusTotal, we have seen that Ad-Aware classifies our applications as "Trojan.Generic.12254947". You can download one of the branded application for your analysis from:  www.programworkshop.com/drivers/mmi/ETS%20Online%20Testing%20Browser.exe

There are no product called Ad-Aware, the name of the product changed several years ago.
