Hi Steve,

Has adaware antivirus worked before or is it a new installation?
Have you got information that an update is needed?

Hi again,

Adaware software needs detailed log files to be able to investigate the problem.

1. Please right-click This Computer icon and select
Properties -> Change settings -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> New (under System variables) -> OK.

In the Varable Name field please type: ADAWARE_LOG_LEVEL
and in the Variable Value field and then type: Debug

If ADAWARE_LOG_LEVEL already exists, write down the current value first.

2. Please follow the instructions in https://forum.adaware.com/index.php?/topic/34799-how-to-report-a-problem/.
