Uninstalling private search

Question

Hello!
Like many others on this forum, Web Companion was installed onto my computer without my permission. I tried uninstalling it and removing it from Firefox search engines, but whenever I open Firefox up Private Search still is there. I rebooted by computer after doing so, but that didn't work either. After browsing some other threads on this forum with the same issue, I have come to the conclusion that I need to use FRST to create a text file. I have attached the text file.

Thank you for your answers!

Hi John,

Do you mean that Private Search is the start page in Firefox?
If yes, please go through the settings of Firefox to change the start page.
