Netpumper

Recommended Posts

Hi,jon m

Enable viewing of hidden files as follows:

1) Go to My Computer, and click on the "Tools" menu

2) Click "Folder options"

3) Select the "View" tab

4) Make sure "Show hidden files and folders" is selected

5) Make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is unchecked

6) Make sure "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" is unchecked

In Windows Explorer, Delete the following Folders

C:\Documents and Settings\Hp_administrator\Application Data\Netpumper

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sixth for this shim

Open Notepad (Click Start >> Run and type in notepad, click OK)

Copy and paste the bold red text in the quote box into the Notepad window:

(Note: copy and paste only the red text - Don’t include the word quote from the quote box)

dir "C:\Documents and Settings\Hp_administrator\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" /a hsr >> files.txt

dir "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" /a hsr >> files.txt

dir "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" /a hsr >> files.txt

start files.txt

Click File and then select Save As

In the ‘Save in’ box - save it to your Desktop

In the ‘File name’ box – type in files.bat

In the ‘Save as type’ box - use the drop down arrow and select All Files

Click Save

Close Notepad

Double-click files.bat on your Desktop. A notepad window named files.txt will open - copy and paste the contents of that file in your next response.

Gogo :)
